Es ist die letzte Bastion nichtautomatisierter Waschanlagen, in der der Kunde zum Rhythmus der Musik von “Rose Royce” noch die persönliche Fürsorge der durchgeknallten Putzkolonne erhält. Das vorprogrammierte Chaos der Waschtruppe ist für die Nerven des Besitzers Mr. B schon genug, aber noch dazu ist der “Dee-Luxe-Carwash” Treffpunkt handverlesener Originale und anderer Verrückter: Der Besuch des Sekten-Priesters Daddy Rich und seiner swingenden Schwestern der Mad Bomber, eine zickige Beverly-Hills-Lady und Mr. B’s zum Kommunismus bekehrter Sohn sorgen für einen ganz normal verrückten Tag. Mitten in diesem Durcheinander muss der junge Autoputzer T.C., der sich insgeheim für den Superheld “The Fly” hält, bei einem Radioquiz ein Ticket für die heißeste Disco der Stadt erkämpfen, um seine große Liebe zu gewinnen.
