  German American artist Eva Hesse (1936 – 1970) created her innovative art in latex and fiberglass in the whirling aesthetic vortex of 1960s New York. Her flowing forms were in part a reaction to the rigid structures of then-popular minimalism, a male-dominated movement. Hesse’s complicated personal life encompassed not only a chaotic 1930s Germany, but also illness and the immigrant culture of New York in the 1940s. One of the twentieth century’s most intriguing artists, she finally receives her due in this film, an emotionally gripping journey with a gifted woman of great courage.

  Everyone in the Osayande family worries about Isoken. Things come to a head at her youngest sister's wedding when her overbearing mother thrusts her into an orchestrated matchmaking with the ultimate Edo man, Osaze. Osaze is handsome, successful and from a good family, making him the perfect Nigerian husband material. But in an unexpected turn of events, Isoken meets Kevin who she finds herself falling in love with and he just might be what she truly wants in a partner. The only problem is, not only is he not an Edo man, he is Oyinbo (Caucasian). Isoken is a romantic dramedy that explores cultural expectations, racial stereotypes and the bonds that unite families in a touching, dramatic and comedic way.

  The dam where Thumbelina and her father live is breaking due to the rising waters in the nearby pond. Father worries that when spring comes, the melting snows will rise the water higher than ever causing the dam to crack and water to flow over the meadow, thus drowning the little people who live there. Father believes he is too old to take on the journey to find the prince and warn him and his people, so he asks his daughter to go instead. Thumbelina agrees, but in her journey she mets a great deal of characters, both good and evil. To someone not bigger than a human's thumb, dealing with the evil intentions of Mona, a greedy mouse, will prove to be a big challenge.

  Romain Esnard ist jung und hat das ganze Leben noch vor sich. Sein Vater Michel ist Postbeamter alter Schule und geht gerade in Rente. Seine geliebte Großmutter Madeleine musste jüngst ins Seniorenheim und sein Opa ist gerade gestorben. Eigentlich interessiert sich Romain für Literatur und vielleicht möchte er auch ein Buch schreiben, doch die ganz normalen Familiengeschichten halten ihn in Atem. Das Seniorenheim findet Oma Madeleine so scheußlich, dass sie urplötzlich Reißaus nimmt und spurlos verschwindet. Familie Esnard, beziehungsweise das, was von ihr übrig ist, gerät in noch größeren Aufruhr. Vater Michel, ohnehin konsterniert über den eigenen Ausstieg aus dem Leben, kriegt einen Wutanfall nach dem nächsten. Und Romains Mutter erklärt, dass sie die Scheidung will. Eines Tages findet Romain in seinem Briefkasten eine Postkarte. Und am nächsten Tag eine weitere, kleine Hinweise, an welchem Ort nach Madeleine zu suchen ist.

  Vier Regisseure arbeiteten zusammen, um für diesen Film vier Episoden aus der bekannten Fernsehserie „The Twilight Zone“ neu zu produzieren. Die Episoden wurden leicht angepasst und in Farbe gedreht (die Fernsehserie lief in Schwarz-Weiß), aber sehr nah an den Originalen gehalten, in denen unheimliche und verstörende Situationen mehr und mehr außer Kontrolle geraten. Die englischen Titel der Episoden lauten: "A Quality of Mercy", "Kick the Can", "It's a Good Life" und "Nightmare at 20,000 Feet".
