Der Anwalt Ju Young-jak führt mit seiner Frau Eun Ho-jeong eine Beziehung auf Sparflamme. Im Bett läuft es einfach nicht mehr so wie früher, vor allem Eun Ho-jeong empfindet keine Befriedigung mehr. So könnte es ruhig weitergehen, wenn nicht ein folgenschwerer Unfall dazu führt, dass eine ungeahnte Dynamik über das Leben der beiden Eheleute hereinbricht.
