  On the 19th of August, Placebo performed a unique one-off show for MTV Unplugged at the London Studios in the UK. Here we present the results of this incredible show.The band were encased in spectacular LED box during the performance, from where they belted out some of their most well-loved tracks such as 'The Bitter End' and 'Every You Every Me.' Some new gems were dropped in for good measure, alongside surprise guests Joan As Police Woman and Majke Voss Romme (Broken Twin). No Placebo show would be complete without some signature cover versions and this set did not disappoint, from the breath-taking opener to the show- Sinead O'Connors 'Jackie' to a melancholy version of Pixies 'Where Is My Mind'

  All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) is one of the toughest med schools in the world (with an acceptance rate of less than 0.1%). After a student gets involved in a violent accident on campus, a film maker goes undercover at AIIMS to investigate the rising incidents of violence amongst the best minds of the nation. Four med students agree to be filmed for a year as part of this observational experiment. Through their personal journeys within these celebrated hallways of excellence- we enter a ruthless world of ambition and competition, where only the toughest can survive.   In December 2008 Placebo embarked on their 8th world tour in 15 years, playing to 2.5 million fans over 143 shows in 44 countries. The tour to promote the album Battle For The Sun, released in 2009, started in Angkor Wat, Cambodia on 7th December 2008 and finished in London, UK on 28th September 2010. This film follows the band through the different continents and cultures they visited and features footage compiled from the shows and countries.

  Kessler's lab was created to run drug trials to determine what went wrong with a once popular mood stabilizing drug. Dr. Martin Kessler cloned his own daughter, who died from the drug. Once with ten test subjects, he and Dr Josephine Vanderhill are now left with only a few dying, sick clones, and one healthy placebo, Jenny. Daniel Powell runs the day to day operations and tends to the clones, administering the very drug that is killing them. When Dr. Kessler unexpectedly dies, instead of shutting down the facility, Dr Vanderhill wants to intensify the testing. She targets Jenny, and convinces Daniel to administer the pills in highly concentrated doses, sure to be fatal. Now conflicted, Daniel is determined to stop her and save the clones.

  Die WG-Kumpels Greg und Rob nehmen über Weihnachten an einem zweiwöchigen Test für ein Allergiemedikament des Pharmariesen Ravexin teil. Nur wenige Stunden nachdem die Freunde mit weiteren Personen in einem verlassenen Krankenhaus in einer sehr abgelegenen Gegend angekommen sind, überkommen Greg bereits erste Zweifel. Er bemerkt, dass sich durch die Einnahme des Medikaments Wunden außergewöhnlich schnell regenerieren. Allerdings mit einem gefährlichen Nebeneffekt: Das Verantwortungsbewusstsein der Teilnehmer verkümmert und gleichzeitig fühlen sie sich auffallend unbesiegbar. Warum ist Greg der Einzige, den das beunruhigt? Hat er ein Placebo erhalten? Die anderen Probanden, auch Rob, geraten schließlich völlig außer Kontrolle und richten ein blutiges Chaos an. Greg versucht, sich und seinen Freund aus der Hölle zu retten. Dabei entdeckt er, dass hinter dem bizarren „Experiment“ eine geheime Regierungsorganisation steckt, die mit dem Medikament Menschen zu tödlichen Waffen machen will...
