In a far village, a paralyzed man collects herbal medicine in mountains for making his living with his sick child. The electricity goes off in his house and an electrician comes to fix it. However, the problem is bigger than what expected and may take days to be settled. When he sees the child in the sickbed, he feels committed to do whatever he can to bring the electricity back. However, he has a tough job ahead with facing nature and some unexpected events.

The film follows four unique individuals and showcases their stories of how mountainbiking captivated their lives and what has drawn them to the sport and intoxicating location of the forest. Each of these interconnected stories creates a tapestry of the local scene that mimics the winding trails of the forest. These stories of personal battles, commitment and passion for the sport of mountainbiking, illustrate both the individual and collective culture that these trails breed. The scene grew from the ground up and Whakarewarewa has become the southern hemisphere’s mountainbiking Mecca.

Seit seiner Kindheit verbindet Quentin mit dem geheimnisvollen Nachbarsmädchen Margo ein Geheimnis: Damals fanden sie zusammen die Leiche eines Selbstmörders und noch am gleichen Abend war Margo an Quentins Fenster geschlichen, um ihm die Schlüsse aus ihren Nachforschungen zu präsentieren. Neun Jahre später haben sich die beiden längst auseinander gelebt, doch dann steht Margo erneut, als Ninja verkleidet, vor seinem Fenster. Sie will losziehen, um sich an denjenigen zu rächen, die sie enttäuscht haben. Quentin folgt ihr in das nächtliche Abenteuer, doch am nächsten Tag ist Margo plötzlich verschwunden. Das Mädchen, das schon öfter von Zuhause ausgerissen ist, bleibt dieses Mal unauffindbar und kann auch von der Polizei nicht ausgemacht werden. Aber sie hat Spuren hinterlassen, die nur für Quentin bestimmt zu sein scheinen. Also entschließt er sich, das Rätsel um Margo zu lösen und sie wiederzufinden.

With all the fights, bullets flying, and explosions it's going to be harder than he thought keeping Matthew safe. But with the help of Kyle's beautiful neighbor Tara (Mischa Barton) it just might be possible.

Seit dem Jahr 835 werden weite Teile Britanniens von Wikingern erobert.
