  BIPOLARIZED is about one man's personal journey to heal. Diagnosed with bipolar disorder, Ross' psychiatrist told him he would live with the disorder for the rest of his life and that he would have to take lithium to control symptoms. To Ross, taking the drug daily felt like a chemical lobotomy, leaving him in a foggy, drug-induced haze. Ross ultimately decided to resolve his symptoms outside of conventional medicine. He progressively reduced his use of the psychotropic drug lithium, at an experimental clinic in Costa Rica. What ensued was a self-exploration into alternative treatments to treat his condition and a journey delving into the root cause of his mental breakdown. The film uses Ross' personal experiences to tell a larger story about medication. It will reveal how we are labelling more and more people with mental illnesses and how, in tandem, we are prescribing more and more toxic psychotropic drugs to treat these illnesses.

  In 1999 Aaron Baker broke his neck in a motocross accident, leaving him completely paralyzed from the neck down. Despite doctor's grim prognosis over the next 16 years Aaron decided not to listen to those who said 'he had a million-to-one odds of ever feeding himself again' and instead, through painstaking effort, endeavored to regain as much mobility as possible. This journey through the unknown took him from the depths of depression to the joys of cross country road tripping via tandem bicycle with his mother and friends, and finally, culminated in his opening a socially conscious low cost gym focused on increasing mobility for the disabled. Now in Coming To My Senses we watch as Aaron takes one final journey which symbolizes his recovery: to cross a 20 mile tract of Death Valley unsupported on foot. But will he make it?

  Freiheit bedeutet für die Südtiroler Extrembergsteigerin Tamara Lunger an ihre Grenzen zu gehen, das Menschenunmögliche zu wagen und dabei die Tiefen ihres Selbst kennenzulernen. Die 31-jährige Alpinistin erklomm als jüngste Frau den 8.516 Meter hohen Lhotse und bestieg den K2 als zweite Frau Italiens in der Geschichte des Alpinismus. Trotzdem ist ihr auch das Scheitern nicht unbekannt, ein Thema, das ihr Leben verändern soll. Markus Frings und Nora Ganthaler erzählen von den Höhen und Tiefen im Leben der Extrembergsteigerin und begleiten sie zusammen mit ihrem Mentor Simone Moro auf die Winterexpedition zum Gipfel des Nanga Parbat und auf den 8.596 Meter hohen Kangchendzönga. Nach den beiden Expeditionen macht sich Tamara an Bord eines Helikopters und im Tandem mit dem italienischen Paragleiter Aaron Durogati auf die Suche nach neuen Zielen und Herausforderungen im Himalaya und in den italienischen Alpen.

  After they have graduated from school, the two best friends Kati and Jo jump into their purple Benz and embark on a journey around the world southwards. Kati, however, struggled with the decision for the journey as the love of her life returned to their hometown Tandern shortly before their departure. The journey leads the two friends over the Brenner pass, where their car suddenly stops working. When Kati then also learns that her grandfather is about to die, she wants to return home – this puts the friendship of the two to an acid test.
