  Mr. Hoppy ist ein schüchterner, älterer Junggeselle, der allein in seiner kleinen Wohnung lebt. Eines Tages nimmt er seinen ganzen Mut zusammen und fragt sie, wie es ihrer Schildkröte geht. Miss Silver lässt ihn wissen, dass diese ihr Sorgen bereitet, weil sie nicht wächst. Da lässt sich Mr. Hoppy spontan einen ausgeklügelten Plan einfallen, um ihren Wunsch zu erfüllen und auf diesem Wege möglicherweise auch ihre Zuneigung zu gewinnen…
