Leopold Wallisch, nick-named "Lemming", was fired from the homicide department due to intrigues by his colleague Krotznig. Now he works for a small Viennese private detective agency and spies on potential adulterers. When the Latin teacher Grinzinger is murdered while under Lemming's observation, he gives himself a shove and decides to solve the case himself. Vor über 25 Jahren wurden die Eltern der Brüder Mica (Eric Cantona) und Romain Lombardi brutal ermordet. Die Täter konnten nie ermittelt werden. Jetzt hat Mica, der eine Laufbahn bei der Polizei an den Nagel hängte, eine anonyme E-Mail erhalten, die den Bankier Hochet als einen der Mörder benennt. Als Hochet kurz darauf ermordet in seiner Wohnung aufgefunden wird, fällt der Verdacht auf Mica, denn er wurde von einer Überwachungskamera im Fahrstuhl des Hauses gefilmt. Mica muss im Wettlauf mit der Polizei seine Unschuld beweisen. Sein einziger Verbündeter ist sein Bruder Romain, der ebenfalls bei der Polizei ist und heimlich eigene Ermittlungen unternimmt.
