Gi Seo is a renowned doctor at the top of his profession, but he’s racked with guilt because he wasn’t able to save his girlfriend, Ji Min, who was HIV-positive. He escapes to work on a small island and fulfill Ji Min’s dying wish: to find a little girl named Bom who she accidentally infected with HIV while she was a medical intern. Bom lives on the island with her single mom Young Shin and grandfather, who has dementia. Gi Seo grows increasingly fond of the family and finds a reason to live again, discovering beautiful miracles on the island.

Saul of the Mole Men is a live-action show created by Craig Lewis. The series first aired February 11, 2007 on Adult Swim. Described as "an ultra-patriotic Land of the Lost set in the center of the Earth", the series is directed by Tom Stern and stars Josh Gardner. Gardner is known for his previous collaboration with Stern on the television series, Gerhard Reinke's Wanderlust. The show's theme song is performed by South Park creator Trey Parker. Lewis' primary inspirations behind this homage to 1970s-era Saturday morning live-action television were Sid and Marty Krofft, Doctor Who, and the Planet of the Apes franchise. On October 31, 2008 Adult Swim ran a special Halloween marathon.

Grand Star, called La Compagnie des Glaces in France is a Canadian French Belgian Co-production science fiction television series playing on Space and A-Channel as of September 2007. Set in an apocalyptic future 100 years after a cataclysmic nuclear explosion on the Moon sends the Earth into a new Ice Age, the show revolves around the interactions between a small community of Earth survivors and the returning descendants of colonists who escaped Earth in advance of the disaster. The series is adapted from a series of novels called La Compagnie des glaces by Georges-Jean Arnaud. A multiplayer strategy game based on the universe of the TV series was launched in 2007. In the game, players face each other and use their trains to gather money for the control of energy sources. A French video game named Transarctica was also based on the novel series and haphazardly translated into English. Raines is a crime drama television series that ran from March 15, 2007 to April 27, 2007 on NBC in the United States. The show premiered as a mid-season replacement, as well as airing on CH in Canada, TV3 in Ireland, ITV3 in the UK, and on Network Ten in Australia. The series focused on Michael Raines, a 'mentally haunted' LAPD detective, who interacts with imaginary manifestations of dead crime victims in order to solve criminal cases. Raines must deal with his unique, unintentional method, as it causes problems with his co-workers and in his personal life. The first two episodes aired on Thursday nights at 10:00 PM Eastern Time during the time slot normally occupied by ER. The third episode aired eight days later, taking up its regular Friday at 9:00 PM time slot. On May 14, 2007, NBC announced its schedule for the 2007-2008 television season. Raines was left off this list, and was officially cancelled.
