Une rêverie habitée dans une maison de retraite d’Istanbul dont les résidents vivent leurs derniers jours : un photographe qui ne voit pas, un Casanova vieillissant qui tente encore de faire du charme et de séduire, une Arménienne qui a survécu au génocide il y a 100 ans mais craint encore de raconter son histoire et deux farceurs qui jouent à détourner l’ascenseur de l’établissement. Pendant ce temps, au dehors, de jeunes ouvriers du bâtiment transforment le paysage en construisant un tout nouvel univers de gratte-ciels. Le temps s’estompe et les rêves se mêlent à la réalité, tandis qu’à l’extérieur le monde change rapidement.
