Cordobes (Michael Parks), Laila's Vater gibt Jack die Schuld am Tod seiner Tochter und setzt Jones (Jarred Harris) darauf an, Jack zur Strecke zu bringen. Für Jack beginnt ein Leben auf der Flucht, verfolgt von Cordobes getrieben von wahnwitzigen Träumen, in denen ihm immer wieder seine Tochter erscheint. Auf der Flucht hat Jack plötzlich eine Erscheinung, die ihm aufzeigt, daß es seine Bestimmung ist, gegen die bösen Kräfte zu kämpfen...
