Zach muss sich nun eine neue Tanzpartnerin suchen, und hat diese in Alejandra auch bald gefunden. Alejandra ist eigentlich eine Eishockeyspielerin und Zach muss große Überzeugungsarbeit leisten, um sie zum Eiskunstlauf zu bringen. Zachs Trainer gefällt dies alles überhaupt nicht, zumal Alejandra eine sehr eigenwillige Technik besitzt. Also muss ein neuer Trainer her, und nach einiger Zeit erkennt Jackie Dorsey, die selbst einst erfolgreiche Eisläuferin war, das Potential, das in den beiden steckt.
