  Der gutmütige Eisbär Norm genießt sein Leben in der Ruhe der frostigen Arktis. Doch immer mehr amerikanischen Touristen legen mit riesigen Kreuzfahrt-Schiffen in den kühlen Gefilden an und stören den Frieden der Elche, Robben, Eisbären und Co. Fiese Investoren planen sogar den Bau von luxuriösen Shopping-Malls in der bisher unberührten Arktis. Das geht eindeutig zu weit! Norm muss etwas gegen die profitgierigen Menschen unternehmen und die Heimat seiner Freunde schützen. In der Begleitung von drei unerschrockenen Freunden reist der Eisbär nach New York City, um den Wahnsinn zu stoppen. Im Big Apple erwarten die Tiere ungeahnte Abenteuer und so wird "Norm of the North" plötzlich zum gefeierten TV-Star. Dazu soll der plüschige Bär auch noch das Maskottchen des Unternehmens werden, das er eigentlich aufhalten will.

A splitboard is a snowboard that splits in half and allows the snowboarder to cross-country ski into the mountains. You then put the board back together and ride down. Snowboarding in the backcountry is an entirely different sport than snowboarding at a resort. A rider gets only a fraction of the runs because they have to earn every foot of ascent. But when taking on these extra challenges ones could be rewarded with the best deep-powder snowboarding that nature has to offer; you won't find these conditions at a ski resort. Alex Maier has been snowboarding his whole life, but that was in the midwest. When he moves to Montana he has to start from scratch, this series shows what it takes to get into the backcountry safely and effectively.

  Documentary.In its catalogue, a Czech travel agency offers a "journey into the unknown", a tour of North Korea. That spring was the second time since 1990 that a group of Czech tourists set foot in the DPRK. The film follows twenty-seven Czechs who have decided to spend approximately 2,600 Euros on a sightseeing tour of a country which cultivates a cult of personality, maintains concentration camps for its citizens and doesn't hide its development of nuclear weapons. Foreign visitors are only allowed a view of a carefully prepared illusion, thoroughly supervised by "guides". What is more, the North Korean system is starkly reminiscent of our own past. Which emotions do our travellers experience: sympathy, nostalgia or, in contrast, happiness that "we already have this behind us"? How does a Czech person, after being accustomed to eighteen years of freedom and democracy, come to terms with the directives and restrictions of a totalitarian system?

  We watch from behind as a person with a sling bag walks through the night, before melting among her peers in a refuge, in Mexico, welcoming those women and men who are fleeing a political situation, an economic impasse enriching organised crime. It is of little matter where these migrants come from, as it is, above all, a matter of staying alive and avoiding the gangs that keep an eye on the long path to exile. However, everyone knows the goal: to get into the north of the continent, the United States or Canada, at all costs, aboard goods trains, which they hang onto dangerously. In complete immersion, Hubert Caron-Guay filmed this last chance voyage in which waiting contends with anguish, even though solidarity is tangible at times, like in the sequence where a man enjoins his companions in misfortune to “run at the same speed as the train”, otherwise, death is certain.
