Sie fangen an, das korrupte und schwer durchschaubare System um die Lehrer-Gewerkschafts-Präsidentin Evelyn Riske infrage zu stellen. Doch Direktor Thompson stellt sich gegen die Kämpferinnen und so wird aus dem lokalen Streit schnell eine überregionale Bewegung für bessere Bildung.
