Als er ungestüm auf sie zuläuft kann sie den Speer aufrichten, wodurch er ihn sich selbst in den Bauch rammt und tot umfällt. Sintel ist jedoch durch die Strapazen und den Überfall so geschwächt, dass sie nach einigen Schritten erschöpft im Schnee liegen bleibt und bewusstlos wird.
