Die Dreiecksgeschichte gerät völlig aus dem Gleichgewicht, als Lota ihr größtes Werk beginnt: die Gestaltung des weltberühmten Flamengo Parks in Rio. Beflügelt von der neuen Umgebung kann Elizabeth wieder schreiben und wird mit Preisen überhäuft. Nun sind beide Frauen auf dem Höhepunkt ihrer Karriere und Teil der gehobenen Gesellschaft Brasiliens. Doch ein Militärputsch droht alles zu ändern...
