Celeste und Zach waren bis vor Kurzem ein Traumpaar, sowohl auf dem Eis als auch im Privatleben. Durch einen schweren Sturz, durch den Celeste ihre Karriere an den Nagel hängen musste, ist es aber auch im Zwischenmenschlichen zu Komplikationen gekommen. Also muss ein neuer Trainer her, und nach einiger Zeit erkennt Jackie Dorsey, die selbst einst erfolgreiche Eisläuferin war, das Potential, das in den beiden steckt.

Im Finale treffen sie auf Gordons ehemaliges Team, das immer noch vom damaligen Coach trainiert wird. Damit bietet sich auch für den Anwalt die Möglichkeit, mit seiner Vergangenheit klar Schiff zu machen...
