What has kept his playing fresh is his refusal to be chained by these digital devices. As he told Down Beat writer Bill Milkowski, "I try to adjust my playing to the timbre and learn something about how to play that sound, yet at the same time I have to try and force the instrument to play with me a little bit. Live at Luna Park is a live album/video by American progressive metal band Dream Theater, released on November 5, 2013 through Eagle Rock Entertainment. The concert film was produced by Over The Edge Productions and directed by Mike Leonard. The album is available on Blu-ray, a two DVD set and Blu-ray plus two DVD combo with three CDs and a Deluxe Edition with a 40-page book. The album will also be available on iTunes. The album was recorded over two nights at Luna Park Stadium in Buenos Aires. The DVD-Blu-ray will also feature a documentary as well as Behind The Scenes-footage. It is also the first Dream Theater live recording to feature drummer Mike Mangini, following Mike Portnoy's departure in 2010. Dream Theater are rocks supreme virtuosos with many awards to their name and here in concert they bring all the power and drama of their music to life with breathtaking performances of classic tracks from across their career.

Vom 22. März bis 13. April 2013 trat Def Leppard im Rahmen eines elf Auftritte umfassenden Gastspiels im „The Joint“ des Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas auf, um alle Lieder ihres 1987 veröffentlichten Erfolgsalbums Hysteria live vor Publikum darzubieten. Dabei wurde die Titelfolge genau eingehalten. Eine echte Vorgruppe gab es bei den Konzerten nicht, stattdessen trat die Band unter dem Namen “Ded Flatbird” selbst in ihrem Vorprogramm auf und spielte zahlreiche Lieder aus ihren frühen Jahren, vornehmlich von den Alben ONThrough the Night und High n’ Dry. Die Auftritte von “Ded Flatbird” vom 29. und 30. März 2013 wurden aufgenommen und waren auf einer zweiten CD enthalten. Außerdem wurde das gesamte Konzert für eine Videoveröffentlichung gefilmt.
