Stone, Time, Touch is a documentary made by Gariné Torossian about the relationship of three Armenian women from the diaspora with the land of Armenia. The young woman (played by Kamee Abrahamian) is visiting Armenia for the first time. The older woman, Arsinée Khanjian has a more conflicted and analytical perspective of her identity and her relationship with the fledgling democracy, one of the former Soviet Union republics. She has been to landlocked Armenia many times and comments on photos taken by French photographer Marc Baguelin. The third trajectory is more subtle and is represented by Gariné Torossian herself whose face is super imposed from time to time in this stylistically-layered documentary.

Nach seiner Karriere als Stand-Up-Komiker und seinem bisherigen Klamauk im Kino, versucht er, sich nun ernsthafteren Projekten zuzuwenden. Als er für ein Interview auf die ehrgeizige Journalistin Chelsea Brown (Rosario Dawson) trifft und mit ihr immer mehr Zeit verbringt, beginnt Andre endgültig, sein bisheriges Leben zu hinterfragen und zu überlegen, was er für seine Zukunft wirklich will.

Now, of all times, Susi temporarily takes over Niederkaltenkirchen's town hall as deputy mayor and, with her newfound power, reduces Franz's position to part-time so that he can take care of son Pauli in the future. This action touches the Eberhofer's masculinity sensitively. Fortunately, it doesn't take long for a crow to pick up a human ear, and what should have been a deadlocked missing person's case surprisingly develops into a tricky murder case that once again unites Franz and Rudi as an investigative dream team in top form.

The film starts with the main character Laura, a young woman with advanced cancer, entering quite upset the home of her parents and claiming to have stopped chemo therapy and having left her husband. The worried parents call the other three adult daughters into the house and they arrive one by one. For the first time in 6 years the entire family is united again. The characters are drawn as tensions rise from old conflicts and as the situation sinks in that Laura might be terminally ill. The movie eventually shifts from a lively sometimes comical beginning into the serious theme of dying and does handle this quite tactfully and moving. While the film touches on many areas surrounding death (including religion, graveyard, care, eutanasia) the main focus is on the transformation of the characters that are thrown out of their busy lifes into this situation, eventually accepting it and dealing with it.
