Dessen Basis gründet in der grundlegenden Idee, zwei Menschen zusammenkommen zu lassen, die sich als Einheit bewegen. So will Pierre den Kindern Lebenskompetenzen mitgeben: Vertrauen, Selbstbewusstsein, Disziplin, Respekt und Umgangsformen. Doch bereits die nötige Berührung der Hände stellt ein Problem dar. Und es soll nicht das Einzige bleiben… Neben ihren jungen Protagonisten hat Hilla Medalia mit Pierre Dulaine einen äußerst charismatischen und humorvollen Protagonisten gefunden, dessen Leidenschaft stets spürbar wird.

Es ist das Jahr 1970, und als Black Sabbath ihr erstes Album aufnehmen, wird in einem tristen Dorf im isländischen Nirgendwo die kleine Hera geboren. Als Zwölfjährige muss sie mit ansehen, wie ihr großer Bruder durch einen tragischen Unfall aus dem Leben gerissen wird. Von dem traumatischen Erlebnis schockiert, übernimmt sie seine Persona samt Lederjacke, Motörhead-Shirt und E-Gitarre. Ihre ganze Jugend trägt sie fortan nur noch seine Klamotten, hört und spielt seine Musik. Trauer und Wut werden mit Songs von bekannten Metalbands und mit eigenen Heavy-Metal-Riffs ausgedrückt. Auch nach der Schulzeit fühlt sie sich von allen missverstanden – auch von ihren Eltern. Diese versuchen durch den Kirchenchor wieder ein wenig am Leben teilzunehmen. Gerade als Heras Rebellion immer destruktivere Ausmaße annimmt, zieht ein junger Priester in den Ort. Das Schicksal scheint sich zu wenden und Hera erkennt, dass sie nicht ihr ganzes Leben lang weglaufen kann.

The Sound of Music Live! is a television special that was originally broadcast by NBC on December 5, 2013. Produced by Craig Zadan and Neil Meron, the special was an adaptation of Rodgers and Hammerstein's Broadway musical The Sound of Music, starring country singer Carrie Underwood as Maria von Trapp, performed and televised live from Grumman Studios in Bethpage, New York. Meron felt that if the telecast were successful, the concept could become "another kind of entertainment that can exist on TV." By her request, Underwood's casting as Maria was personally endorsed by Julie Andrews, who starred in the 1965 film.
