Disney's Friends for Change is a pro-social "green" initiative that started in the summer of 2009. Disney stars stress environmental issues in the campaign, encouraging fans to take action. The year-long campaign draws on how Disney stars connect with young fans. Miley Cyrus, Selena Gomez, the Jonas Brothers, and Demi Lovato were among the original stars in the 30 second to 2 minute public service announcements currently airing on Disney Channel. As part of the initiative, kids will have the ability to choose how Disney will invest one million dollars in various environmental programs. The initiative was presented instead of the 2009 and 2010 Disney Channel Games. The first Disney's Friends for Change Games premiered June 24, 2011 on Disney Channel, replacing the Disney Channel Games.

Legend of the Dragon is an animated series consisting of 26 episodes followed by 13 additional episodes for a total of 39 episodes. It is produced by BKN and premiered in October 2006 as part of the Jetix block on Toon Disney. Subsequently, the two part episode "Trial by Fire" was shown as a Jetix Blockbuster on ABC Family in August before all Jetix programming moved to Toon Disney. In the UK, the first 26 episodes have aired across CBBC. It premiered in Summer 2005 on the CBBC channel. It is unclear of whether the additional 13 episodes will be shown or not. Episodes 27–39 have begun airing in Australia on Network Ten's Toasted TV as of March 19, 2008.

Huntik: Secrets & Seekers is an Italian/American animated television series, begun in 2009, created and directed by Iginio Straffi. It was a co-production between Big Bocca Productions, a company owned by Richard McWilliam, CEO and owner of Upper Deck and Rainbow S.p.A. It acts like one of the spin-offs to the Winx Club series. All of the show's designs, animation and visual style were created in Italy, while the scriptwriting and original voice recording were done in the United States. It aired on The CW4Kids at 11:30am Eastern Standard Time on Saturdays. In Europe, the series used to air on Disney XD, and on CITV. In India, the series' first season aired on Disney XD in 2010. The series premiered on January 3, 2009, with one episode in the US and the first four episodes in Europe, making Jetix the home for premieres beyond the first episode. It was revealed in a magazine with the new season of the Winx Club, that the second season of Huntik would air in fall 2012 in the US. However, the second season began airing in the spring of 2012 in UK on CITV & Australia on channel eleven. The first season was released on DVD by Anime Works in 2010.
