In May of 2004, Gretchen Wilson celebrated the release of her record setting Here For The Party album with several hundred of her closest friends at the famous St. Louis Pageant Theatre. On October 15, 2013 Gretchen returned to The Pageant to perform the groundbreaking album in its entirety for the first time. The one-night-only event was recorded for a live STILL Here For The Party BLURAY/DVD and AUDIO CD release to commemorate the albums 10-year Anniversary. Filmed in HD, multi-track audio recorded, this project contains 2 bonus tracks. We - Atlanta - have let these neighborhoods become an eyesore of the city, the birthplace of the Civil Rights movement. This film explores the culture that saw fit to invest hundreds of millions of public dollars in a sports venue while neglecting the community just across the street.

In Georgia, in the tiny Didube bus station, characters flow into Niko’s veterinarian pharmacy. They are not really customers, some of them come in by mistake. The faded poster, with its cows that have turned blue over time, is the only trace of an activity connected to animals. The store, its counter overflowing with packaging and other useless things, could have been filmed in another era. But time stands still here, and it really is the Georgia of today that we find in this snapshot of the nonetheless incessant activity at the station. Nodar’s refrain, accompanied by his guitar, paces and pushes the film forward, in fits and start, according to the arrivals and departures of the buses headed for other destinations that are perhaps more rooted in the modern word.

Apatity, a far-north industrial town in Russia, first came into being as a USSR concentration camp. Although its environment is at the brink of ecological disaster, the people here still believe in the state’s promise of immortality that can be gained through sacrificial service to the fatherland. This is how the elite in a totalitarian state buy a person’s will, strength, talent and, indeed, life, turning the human being into another resource that is as faceless as a grey lump of ore. ‘I cannot fight big corporations or state structures with a film. But I hope that there is someone in the darkness of the cinema whose heart will get a bit warmer after seeing it,’ says the director. The larger part of the film was shot during the polar night.
