Masi Pallopää ja Tarmo Karvanen ovat erottamaton parivaljakko, mutta niin ei ole suinkaan aina ollut. Kun tämä epäsuhtainen monsterikaksikko ensi kertaa tapasi toisensa, he eivät voineet sietää toisiaan. Niinpä “Monsterit-Yliopisto” raottaakin ovea niihin hullunhauskoihin toilailuihin, joiden kautta Masi ja Tare oppivat pitämään toisistaan ja heistä tuli lopulta parhaat kaverit.

Rick Riordanin suosittuun nuortenromaaniin perustuva elokuva jatkaa Percy Jacksonin (Logan Lerman) seikkailuja. Percy Jackson ja Hirviöidenmeri on jatkoa vuonna 2010 valmistuneelle Percy Jackson ja Salamavaras -elokuvalle. Newyorkilaista Percy Jacksonia pidetään koulussa surkeana oppilaana. Todellisuudessa Percy on merenjumala Poseidonin poika, mikä selvisi hänelle edellisessä elokuvassa. Tällä kertaa urhoollinen ja nokkela Percy yrittää pelastaa Puoliveristen kesäleirin antiikin hirviöiden kynsistä. Pelastamiseen tarvitaan taikaesine, joka on ollut kadoksissa satoja vuosia. Eikä ihme, sillä löytääkseen taikaesineen täytyy ensin ylittää Hirviöidenmeri. Se sama, jonka halki historian sankarit Odysseuksesta alkaen ovat joutuneet purjehtimaan.

"Autojen" maailman taivaalta valkokankaalle liitelee Disneyn "Lentsikat" – vauhdikas 3D-animaatiokomedia pääosassaan Dusty, pikkukaupungin lentsikkapoika, joka unelmoi kilpalentokoneen urasta. Dustya ei kuitenkaan ole tehty kilpuriksi – ja kaiken kukkuraksi hän sattuu pelkäämään korkeita paikkoja. Niinpä hän pyytää avukseen vanhan sotilaslentokoneen Kipparin, joka opettaa hänelle muutaman niksin, joiden avulla Dusty voi haastaa hallitsevan mestarin. Dustyn kantti ja taidot joutuvat todelliselle koetukselle, kun hän nousee aivan uusiin korkeuksiin pärjätäkseen unelmiensa kisassa.
