Hurja jengi koostuu viidestä konnasta. Joukioon kuuluvat sulava taskuvaras herra Susi, kaiken kokenut murtovaras herra Käärme, naamioitumisen mestari herra Hai, äkkipikainen korsto herra Pirajia ja naseva hakkeri neiti Tarantella. Mutta kun vuosikausia jatkuneiden huijausten ja takaa-ajojen jälkeen jengi jää viimeinkin kiinni, herra Susi tekee diilin, jota hänellä ei ole aikomustakaan noudattaa: vankilalta välttyäkseen Hurja jengi ryhtyy kiltiksi.
