Suffocated by debt, JJ, a young white trash woman from the United States, escapes from Los Angeles to Baja California, Mexico, in search of an old lover to save her from her tumultuous existence. Always with the threat of being discovered, they embark on an adventure through the desert in which JJ's bad decisions will complicate things more and more; But, along the way, a special relationship will emerge between the two.
