Siamo alla vigilia delle vacanze natalizie. Ranuccio, Giorgio e Paolo hanno in comune un destino sfortunato. Tutti e tre vengono lasciati dalle rispettive mogli e compagne. Tutti e tre cadono nella stessa terribile depressione. Giorgio si rifugia tra le braccia del suo migliore amico Mario, in partenza per Miami per raggiungere la sua ex moglie e le figlie, e decide di raggiungerlo in Florida, dove diverrà oggetto di spudorate seduzioni da parte di Stella, figlia di Mario, da sempre innamorata di lui. Mentre Mario dovrà inventarsi mille storie per non far scoprire all'amico un segreto imbarazzante. Ranuccio si unisce al figlio ventenne Paolo, in partenza per una eccitante vacanza a Miami con due suoi amici, Diego e Lorenzo. Inadeguato, maldestro e naturalmente propenso a cacciarsi nei guai, Ranuccio riuscirà brillantemente a trasformare in disastro ogni avventura dei tre giovani.
