Het is het einde van het schooljaar. Het grote moment van de vakantie is aangebroken. De kleine Nicolas, zijn ouders en Mémé vertrekken richting zee en verblijven tijdens hun vakantie in het hotel Beau-Rivage. Op het strand maakt Nicolas al snel nieuwe vrienden.
