Flits, een achtergelaten jonge kater, tijdens een heftige storm terecht in een mysterieus herenhuis. Dit huis wordt bewoond door een oude tovenaar genaamd Lawrence. Lawrence deelt zijn sprookjeswereld samen met aantal huisdieren en enkele speelgoedfiguren. Hij zorgt ervoor dat Donder zich snel thuis voelt, maar Jack het Konijn en Maggie de Muis zijn bezig een plannetje te maken om hem zo snel mogelijk weg te jagen. Wanneer Lawrence plotseling in het ziekenhuis terecht komt probeert zijn neef het huis stiekem te verkopen. Vanaf dat moment smeden de bewoners een plan om het huis om te toveren tot een spookhuis, met als hun geheime wapen Flits!....
