I went to Bosnia after war ended, in 1996, when the Danton Peace Accord was being implemented. Bosnia had been divided in two entities, which separated the two main opposing forces of the conflict; the Serb Bosnians and the Muslim Bosnians. Two years later, in 1998, I returned to Bosnia... This movie is a diary of the two voyages, in which I deal with the memories of the war, the death and destruction and with the victim’s struggle who don’t know how to return home.

Bünyamin çocukluğunda kıskançlığı nedeniyle bir arkadaşının ölümüne sebep olmuş ve bu travmadan yıllarca kurtulamamıştır. Ailesinden kaçma ve insanlara iyilik yapma üzerine kurulu bir hayat yaşayan Bünyamin, bir süredir Bosna'da toplu mezarlardan ceset çıkaran bir kuruluşta çalışmaktadır. Türkiye'ye dönmesine günler kala Mostar Köprüsü'nde intihar etmeye çalışan Zrinka ile tanışır. Genç kadın savaş sırasında tüm yakınları kaybetmiş bir psikologtur. Bünyamin onu hayata geri döndürür ve Zrinka da onun psikolojik travmalarını çözmeye yardımcı olmaya başlar. İkisi arasında başlayan ve birbirlerine açıklamadıkları aşk, Bünyamin'i Hasankeyf'e dönüp ailesiyle yüzleşmeye iter. Bünyamin'den haber alamayan Zrinka da onu bulabilmek için Hasankeyf'e gittiğinde kendilerini ilginç gelişmeler içerisinde bulurlar.

The teenagers cross snowy landscapes and meet aggressive border police on their way. Reaching their final destination has become more difficult than ever. Their journey takes them through the whole of Europe: from Greece to North Macedonia, Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina, from Italy to France and The Netherlands. The film was shot over a period of three years, partly by the main characters themselves on their phones.
