According to these sources, she was not created from Adam's rib like Eve but from clay like he himself. Nevertheless Lilith was not recognised by Adam as his equal and left him after a quarrel heading for Babylon. She has no soul, and she is immortal. Lilith assumes different names, can change her appearance, and takes possession of men against their will. Once it's accomplished, she leaves her victims forever, marking them for either spiritual, or physical death. Whatever she does it is neither Good nor Evil. Inspired by the works of French writer Anatole France, Yevgeny Pashkevich‘s GULF STREAM UNDER THE ICEBERG consists of three dramatically interwoven stories with the immortal Lilith stalking through time and space with her demonic mission.

Rasheed (Lal) is a Malayali non-resident Indian working in the Gulf. He is on vacation in his hometown, Kozhikode in order to solemnise his daughter's engagement. Rasheed has invested in a commercial property next to his house which he has let out to store owners, except for one room. He hopes to use this room to start a business on his final return from the Gulf. During his holiday this room becomes a meeting place for Rasheed and his friends, where they bond over drinks every night. Manoharan (Sreenivasan) is a filmmaker wandering in the same city in search of a producer for his film.

In Homework (1989), Abbas Kiarostami put questions to students at a public school: questions about homework, punishments, and dreams of the future. The result was a portrait of the generation that grew up during the Iran-Iraq war, trapped by uncertainty and a rigid upbringing. Now, some 30 years later, directors Ashkan Nejati and Mehran Nematollahi repeat Kiarostami’s questions and come to the conclusion that the school system and society itself have changed dramatically. The gulf between rich and poor has grown far wider, and that has become evident in the schools. Parents, many of whom are illiterate, are unable to help their young ones, or otherwise too busy with their careers to supervise homework. Any sense of interest or guidance is absent.
