Locksley'li Robin, Kral Aslan Yürekli Richard ile birlikte haçlı seferine katılmış ve sefer sırasında esir düşmüş Kudüs'te bir zindana kapatılmıştır. İdam edileceği haberini almasıyla kaçış planları hazırlayan Robin, kaçarken müslüman bir esir olan Azeem'in de hayatını kurtarır. Azeem hayatını borçlu olduğu Robin'in yanından ayrılmayacağını söyleyince birlikte İngiltere'ye dönerler.Fakat Robin İngiltere'ye döndüğünde, İhtişamlı Locksley kalesini harap bir şekilde bulur. Babası Lord Locskley ise Notthingam Şerifi tarafından şeytana taptığı iddiasıyla idam edilmiştir. Bu arada evde sağ kurtulabilen fakat işkence sırasında kör olan hizmetçileri Duncan'ı bulan Robin, ondan Notthingam Şerifi ve cadısı hakkında hikayeler duyar. Bu sırada topraklarına giren Notthingam Şerifi'nin adamları da Locksley'li Robin'in peşindedir.
