Bütün bu süreç, Wegener'in tarihte bilinen ilk cinsiyet değiştirme ameliyatlarından birinin objesi olmasına dek sürecek, ikilinin hem özel, hem de profesyonel hayatlarını geri dönülmez bir şekilde değiştirecektir.
