Hindistan’ın en iyi yatılı okullarından birinde okuyan Rohan ve 3 arkadaşı, okuldan kaçıp sinemaya gittikleri için okuldan atılırlar ve evlerine dönmek zorunda kalırlar. Arkadaşlarından farklı bir şehirde yaşayan Rohan’ın annesi yıllar önce ölmüş, şimdi yanına döneceği babası ise Rohan’ı 8 yıldır görmemiştir. Rohan babasının yanına döndüğünde bugüne kadar hiç görmediği 6 yaşında bir üvey kardeşi olduğunu öğrenir. Ayrıca babasının sert, otoriter ve katı dünyasıyla da tanışır. Bir yazar olmak için yaşayan ve sürekli yazan Rohan, üniversitede edebiyat okumak istemektedir. Ancak babası onunla aynı şekilde düşünmemektedir ve Rohan için farklı planları vardır. Rohan bu yeni dünyada yaşamaya çalışırken, amcası ve yeni arkadaşlarıyla birlikte şehrin sokaklarıyla birlikte, başlarda ısınamadığı kardeşi Arjun’un ve kendisinin iç dünyasını da keşfedecektir.
