Accordingly, it is a huge album that musically feeds on the current sound of French and American role models as well as the East and West Coast rap of the nineties. Exactly the approach that has helped both scene heroes to their current size in recent years. In interaction, the duo runs perfectly like Method Man and Redman and entertains - in all the harshness of the story and content - infinitely entertaining like the legendary films of Bud Spencer and Terrence Hill. Whilst Castorf’s staging polarized, Marek Janowski’s musical reading was unanimously praised, as was the excellent cast including in this opera Iain Paterson (Wotan), Nadine Weissmann (Erda), Albert Dohmen (Alberich) and Roberto Saccà (Loge)
