Aus dem als gemeiner und mit Spukelementen inszenierter Spaß wird schnell bitterer Ernst, denn in dem Gemäuer haust tatsächlich ein Geist und der lässt sich das Theater gar nicht gefallen: Er hat es auf die Seelen der Anwesenden abgesehen und macht aus dem Abend einen wahren Albtraum.
