Ohne Lösung fürs Dilemma und vor allem ohne genug Geld in der Tasche nimmt der Jungregisseur Arbeit im Havelland an. Auf der Apfelplantage trifft er Sancho und Hong, die man im Museum gefeuert hat, nachdem ein Dürer-Bild und ein Feuerlöscher gestohlen wurden – dummerweise in ihrer Schicht. Beim anstrengenden Obstpflücken spüren Julian, Sancho und Hong in den eigenen Knochen, wie anstrengend der Kapitalismus ist. Immerhin der weise Idiot in Mönchskutte macht ihnen auf der Plantage ein bisschen Hoffnung, erzählt von einem „Kommunismus ohne Kommunisten“ in Italien…
