Und bald stößt auch die Adlige Marian Lancaster zu ihnen, denn sie soll von Bischof Herford, adoptiert werden, da diese das goldene Kreuz, das sie um den Hals trägt haben wollen. Und so erleben die Freunde gemeinsam viele Abendteuer.
