Disney's Jungle Cubs is an animated series produced by Disney for ABC in 1996. It was based on their 1967 feature film The Jungle Book, but set in the youth of the animal characters. The show was a hit, running for two seasons in syndication before moving its re-runs to the Disney Channel. The show was broadcast on Toon Disney, but was taken off the schedule in 2001. The show did air in the United Kingdom on Disney Cinemagic and in Latin America until it was removed. The show's theme song is a hip-hop version of the classic song, "The Bare Necessities" performed by Lou Rawls. After a ten-year absence in the United States, reruns of the show began airing on Disney Junior since March 23, 2012, and are broadcast every day at 5:00AM ET.

Life's Work is an American situation comedy series that aired from September 1996 to June 1997 on the ABC channel; the show stars Lisa Ann Walter as Lisa Ann Minardi Hunter, an assistant district attorney in Baltimore. Lisa Ann always wanted to practice law since she was young because she always argued with her parents. She also had a basketball coach husband named Kevin Hunter who served as the patriarch of the family. Together, they raised a 7-year-old daughter Tess and a toddler son named Griffin. During the entire run of the series, a simple electric guitar instrumental solo was used as the show's opening theme. Laugh tracks were used in all episodes in the sitcom as it was filmed "live before a studio audience." During the 1990s, it was common to give stand-up comedians their own sitcom on TV; even if their first one had flopped. Lisa Ann Walter was a stand-up comedian who played a mouthy feminist who could stand up to her mother in addition to her superiors at work. While Lisa Ann's character had plenty of zingers to her, there was still a sense of "been-there-done-that" with her character. In one of the episodes, Lisa Ann claimed to have a sexual affair with then-current American President Bill Clinton.

The series was about anthropomorphic automobiles that bore resemblances to cats and dogs. The main characters are freedom fighters trying to save their homeworld of Autopia from The Crusher. The show ran for two seasons, each consisting of 26 ten-minute episodes. Hot Rod is a bright red animal hybrid. He's part car, part canine, and he's just one of a collection of dog-cars and cat-cars found on the anthropomorphic automotive world of Autopia. And this place would be something of a car utopia, if it wasn't for the fact that Hot Rod has fallen foul of the Autopia police force, who come in the bulldogged shape of the Gridlockers. He's also caught the eye of the all-powerful, megalomaniac machine known as the Crusher, who has a variety of bounty hunters and mean machines at his disposal. And that's our cue for lots of freewheelin' action as Hot Rod and his miss-matched pals in the resistance attempt to dodge the constabulary and tackle the bad guys head-on in a bid to rid the land of tyranny for ever!
