Frisky Dingo is an American animated cartoon series created by Adam Reed and Matt Thompson for Adult Swim. The series revolved around the conflict between a supervillain named Killface and a superhero named Awesome X, alias billionaire Xander Crews, and much of the show's humor focuses on parodying superhero and action movie clichés. It debuted on October 16, 2006 and ended its first season on January 22, 2007; the second season premiered on August 26, 2007 and ended on March 23, 2008. A third season was in development, but in the absence of a renewal contract from Adult Swim, pre-production ceased. The production company itself, 70/30 Productions, subsequently went out of business in January 2009. A spin-off show, The Xtacles, premiered on November 9, 2008, but only two episodes were aired prior to the production company's closure.

Work Out in the Zone is a reality television series on Bravo. The show is centered around fitness trainers and models located in the many cities of California. The first three seasons featured many of the trainers who work for fitness trainer Jackie Warner, and some other aspects of the gym and its clients as well as Warner's other fitness ventures, and private life. The third season of Work Out ended on June 10, 2008, and was canceled. A fourth season is currently held in production, with eight different trainers cast for the show. Warner, will not return for the fourth season, after the network was not pleased with her interaction with the other trainers. The fourth season, which will revamp the show's concept, will mainly feature top fitness model and former army ranger Greg Plitt, who is the only cast member to return from the previous season.

High school student Hoshi Izumi loses her father suddenly in an accident. One day, Sakuma, the waka gashira of a small and weak Yakuza gang in Asakusa - the Medaka Gumi - pays Izumi a visit along with the gang members. The death of their former kumicho (Boss) puts Medaka Gumi on the verge of a breakup. Therefore, Sakuma begs Izumi, the former boss's only distant relative left, to succeed to the kumicho position. Izumi is taken by surprise and keeps refusing at first. However, she ends up becoming the 8th kumicho of the Medaka Gumi! The police tell her that her father's death may possibly be a homicide case. There's also Mayumi, a mysterious woman staring closely at Izumi's father's photograph at his funeral. The situation becomes complicated when the drug-dealing vicious yakuza, Hamaguchi Gumi, comes into the picture as well as Sandaiji Hajime, a politician whose public stance is to eliminate drugs.

Soccer Aid is a biennial British charity event that has raised £6.5 million in aid of UNICEF UK through ticket sales and donations. The event is a football match between two teams of celebrities and former professional players, representing England and the Rest of the World. Television coverage began on ITV on 22 May 2006 in a show presented by Ant & Dec. Soccer Aid was initiated by Robbie Williams and Jonathan Wilkes. The event returned on 7 September 2008 and again on 6 June 2010. England beat Rest of the World in 2012.

Game$how Marathon is an American television program which aired on CBS from May 31, 2006 to June 29, 2006. It is based on the UK series Ant & Dec's Gameshow Marathon which aired on ITV in 2005. The show features contestants competing in some of television's most historically popular game shows, in a single-elimination format until an ultimate winner is found. Both the UK and US versions featured celebrity contestants. The US version was produced by FremantleMedia North America and Granada America and was hosted by Ricki Lake and announced by Rich Fields. In the US, the series only aired for a single season, while in the UK a second season aired in 2007, this time entitled Gameshow Marathon and hosted by Vernon Kay. This program was recorded at Stage 46, CBS Television City in Los Angeles, CA, USA.

Alice, I Think was a Canadian television series based on the Susan Juby book of the same name. Fifteen-year-old Alice is a "hyper-critical, socially-retarded narcissist with mind-numbingly poor judgement," played by Carly McKillip. Alice's brother, MacGregor, is played by Connor Price. Alice's father, John, is played by Dan Payne, and her mother, Diane, is played by Rebecca Northan. Other characters include Marcus, Aubrey, Bob, Finn, Linda, Becky, Karen, Violet, Rosie and Geraldine. The show takes place in Smithers, British Columbia. Chad Vader: Day Shift Manager is an American comedy fan web series created by Aaron Yonda and Matt Sloan, who write, direct and appear in the series, which parodies Star Wars. The show's central character is Chad Vader, the day-shift manager at the fictional supermarket Empire Market, who clashes with his customers and employees. Initially produced for Channel 101, the project was canceled after only two episodes were released. However, Yonda and Sloan decided to continue the story and the project achieved significant popularity following its airing on YouTube. It is largely filmed in Madison, Wisconsin at Willy Street Cooperative. The show has received several awards, including an Official Star Wars Fan Film Award.

Lotte is a Dutch telenovela television series. The series is broadcast by the commercial station Tien, upon which it is shown every weekday at 6:30 pm. The series is based on the Colombian telenovela Betty La Fea and centres around the protagonist, Lotte Pronk, an business economics graduate who passed with honours and has trouble finding a job until she comes across a secretary job in an international fashion company called "Emoda", where at the same time a conflict is occurring in the business between two prospective CEOs. She begins the series mocked by many of her colleagues for being "ugly", and as the series progresses she develops confidence, moves up the ladder and explores romantic interests. The series also features on the fellow Emoda employees, and their relationships and career problems. Lotte is written by a team of writers led by Marciel Witteman, also known for the Dutch soap opera Goudkust, and scripts for the drama series Westenwind. The series was directed by Vincent Schuurman and Manin de Wilt. Lotte is the first Dutch telenovela which in its original form was to consist of 200 episodes. On 11 December 2006, Tien officially announced that the series would get 35 extra episodes. Marciel Witteman wanted the extra episodes to round off the storylines of some of the characters. American Inventor was a reality television series based on a competition to be named America's best inventor. It was conceived by UK entrepreneur Peter Jones, who appears on the British version of the somewhat similar programme Dragons' Den, a format originated in Japan where it is owned by Sony. It was produced by Jones alongside Simon Cowell and the producers of American Idol. It premiered on ABC on March 16, 2006. It was organized as a competition between the various Inventors resulting in one overall winner. Janusz Liberkowski, who invented a new type of child safety seat based on the human womb called the Anecia Safety Capsule, was declared the first season's winner in a live episode on May 18, 2006. The second season premiered on June 6, 2007. Firefighter Greg Chavez, who invented a fire suppression system for Christmas Trees called the Guardian Angel, was the winner of the second season, on August 1, 2007. On March 20, 2008, the show's official website was removed, and the series was not included on the 2008 fall schedule, therefore the series was cancelled.

The Amazing Race Asia is a reality game show based on the American series The Amazing Race. On 17 October 2005, CBS gave other countries the chance to franchise The Amazing Race. The Asian cable TV network AXN Asia was among the first to acquire the rights to produce a version for its territories. The show is produced by Australian television production company ActiveTV, for AXN, in association with Buena Vista International Television-Asia Pacific. The host for the show is Singapore based Chinese-American actor Allan Wu. The ultimate prize is US$100,000, whilst the American show gives away US$1,000,000. The general manager of SPE Networks-Asia which runs AXN, Ricky Ow explained the smaller prize, saying, "It is not really about the money but the adventure and opportunity to be in one of the world's greatest reality shows".

Celebrity Paranormal Project is a paranormal reality television series that originally aired from October 22, 2006 to November 1, 2007 on VH1. The show is currently on hiatus, so it is unknown if VH1 will re-air the show and begin with a second season. Except for a different title and usage of celebrities, the VH1 show is identical to MTV's Fear. The show since been released and available on iTunes and Xbox Live. All eight episodes are also available for free streaming on Hulu.

La Verdad Oculta is a Mexican telenovela, fusion and remake of two telenovelas, one of which is El Camino Secreto; the other is Al Final del Arco Iris, a novela produced by Ernesto Alonso in 1982, written by María Zarattini and José Rendón. Probably because the telenovela is a fusion, there are two sets of protagonists: The actors playing the protagonists of La Verdad Oculta are Galilea Montijo, Gabriel Soto, Alejandra Barros and Eduardo Yáñez, and one of the antagonists is played by Julio Alemán. The telenovela was under the production of Emilio Larrosa. Mexico's Canal de las Estrellas aired the telenovela from February 27, 2006 to August 11, 2006. Univision aired it from August 31, 2010 to March 7, 2011 at 12am central. The story is distinctive in that three artifacts are practically characters in their own right and have their own stories: 1 a piece of paper with writing on it, 2 diamonds, and 3 a pair of cuff links. The story of these artifacts gets quite complicated.
