On kulunut viisi vuotta siitä kun erikoistehosteiden mestari Rollie Tyler ja etsivä Leo McCarthu tekivät yhteistyötä järjestäytyneitä rikollisia vastaan. Samalla heidän käsiinsä joutui 125 miljoonaa dollaria "yksityiskäyttöön". Rollie on vetäytynyt elokuva-alalta ja jättänyt tehoste-efektit. Hän on nyt lelusuunnittelija ja Leo on entinen poliisi.
