Viiru ei tyydy tähän vastaukseen, joten hän yrittää pakottaa Pesosen lupaamaan että pukki tulee - muuten hän ei aio tosiaankaan viettää joulua enää koskaan! Paineen alla Pesonen lupaa, että pukki tulee. Hän päättää rakentaa robotin, joka osaisi liikkua ja puhua kuin joulupukki. Pesonen viettää lähes kaiken aikansa verstaallaan rakentaen ja pohtien, ja Viiru tuntee jääneensä aivan yksin... Mutta keitä ovatkaan nuo kummalliset pikku-ukkelit, jotka tulevat tervehtimään?
