Heidän kertomuksensa Tatianasta on aivan toinen: hän oli onnellinen ja lähetti perheelleen suuria summia rahaa. Ruotsiin palattuaan sekavanoloinen Kurt ajaa kolarin ja Mattson passittaa hänet sairas lomalle pitääkseen tämän sivussa tutkimuksista.
