Kova työ tuottaa vihdoin tulosta ja Bauer saa käsiinsä tiedon, jonka mukaan Eichmannin, jota pidettiin holokaustin toteutuksen organisoijana ja kulissien takaisena pääpyövelinä väitetään piileskelevän Buenos Airesissa. Bauerille kuitenkin selviää, että hänen työtään yritetään sabotoida Saksasta käsin, eikä paikalliseen oikeuslaitokseen voi luottaa. Maanpetoksenkin uhalla hän ryhtyy yhteistyöhön vieraan vallan tiedustelupalvelun kanssa ja välittää tietonsa Eichmannin sijainnista suoraan Israelin Mossadille.

Strangely enough the camera seems to be welcome everywhere, and it closely follows these dramatic developments.
