Lääkäri väittää luulleensa taloa B&B:ksi ja tekee olonsa häiritsevän kotoisaksi heti ovesta astuttuaan. Tämä paljastuu runoilijan stalkkeri-faniksi, ja tämän vaimo puhuu pelkkiä ilkeyksiä talon emännälle. Runoilija innostuu kaikesta mitä vierailla on sanottavanaan, eikä välitä enää mistään mitä vaimo sanoo. Pian taloon alkaa saapua lisää vieraita ja runoilija toivottaa heidät kaikki tervetulleeksi. Vieraiden ansiosta runoilija saa teoksensa valmiiksi ja sitten alkaa kauhun tapahtumasarja, jollaista kukaan ei olisi halunnut kokea.

Tilanne muuttuu kamalasta toivottomaksi Andyn joutuessa myös zombin puremaksi, joillon isällä on vain kaksi vuorokautta löytää joku joka pitää huolta Rosie-vauvasta. Se ei ole kovin helppo homma keskellä ei-mitään, jossa suurin osa vielä elossa olevista harvoista ihmisistä on menettänyt suurimman osan ihmisyydestään ja kyvystään empatiaan.
