Omilta ongelmilta harhautusta tarjoaa kuitenkin samaan hotelliin majoittunut nuori pari. Avioliiton satamaan vasta astuneiden nuorten arki tarjoaa Rolandille ja Vanessalle ikkunan menneisyyteen, ja pian pelkkä tarkkailu ei riitä pariskunnalle.
