Mais Bertarido (le contre-ténor principal Andreas Scholl) est vivant et finit par récupérer à la fois le trône et sa femme et fait la paix avec ses ennemis. Stephanie Blythe est merveilleuse dans le rôle d'Eduige, la sœur de Bertarido, fiancée à Grimoaldo mais qui se retourne contre lui. L'autorité baroque est dirigée par Harry Bicket.

Their energy, excitement and enthusiasm supercharged the acts – and those performances were captured by cameras which broadcast the concert live to Australia.
