From 1978 to 1982, Glenn O'Brien hosted a New York city public access cable TV show called TV Party. Co-hosted by Chris Stein, from Blondie, and directed by filmmaker Amos Poe, the hour long show took television where it had never gone before: to the edge of civility and "sub-realism" as Glenn would put it. Walter Steding and his TV Party "Orchestra" provided a musical accompaniment to the madness at hand, and many artists and musicians, from The Clash, Nile Rodgers, Jean-Michel Basquiat, David Bryne and Arto Lindsey were regular guests. It was the cocktail party that could be a political party. With 80 hours of disintegrating 3/4 inch videotape as a starting point, we tracked down the trend setting participants still living today and found out what they remember of the period and how the show influenced their lives. This, combined with clips from the orginal show, became the documentary "TV Party.

In Dido & Aeneas Sasha Waltz opens up new horizons in music theatre, creating a fusion of dance, singing and music the choreographic opera. The (extended, revised) libretto, the (reconstructed) music, vocal parts, dance, the stage set featuring a rousing underwater ballet combine to form a sublime total choreography and parallel action involving dancers, singers and musicians. Formed in 1964, the Moody Blues emerged as one of the most renowned bands of the psychedelic era. Between 1965 and 1973, the band had 7 Top-30 singles on the Billboard Pop Singles chart, including their classic "Nights In White Satin", which soared to #2 on the charts. After a 5-year hiatus, they returned in the late 70’s with several minor hits, until releasing "Your Wildest Dreams" in 1986, which peaked at #9 on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart (and went #1 on the Adult Contemporary charts). The Moody Blues’ lone appearance at the Montreux Jazz Festival occurred on July 3, 1991 at the Montreux Casino, while in support of their Keys Of The Kingdom album. The group (which includes long-time members Justin Hayward, Graeme Edge, John Lodge, and Ray Thomas) performs a number of their biggest hits, including "Gemini Dream", "Nights In White Satin", "I’m Just A Singer (In A Rock & Roll Band)", and "Your Wildest Dreams".

Live in Cuba is the first live DVD of the American hard rock band Audioslave, containing footage of the free concert that the band performed in Cuba in front of over 70,000 people. The concert itself is considered to be an historical event, as it marks the first time in Cuban history that an American rock band has been permitted to perform within the country. The DVD features the show itself, and also a 37 minute documentary based on the band and their time spent in Cuba. According to Chris Cornell (said during the concert), at the time the concert was performed it was the longest one that Audioslave had played.

The show features some great light and sound effects apart from the great music that Eagles is renowned for. The 'five-part' harmony song, "Hole in the World" elicits a great crowd participation with the audience providing a 'clap rhythm' as the band sings. The song "Life's Been Good" features some antics by Joe Walsh and Frey with them staging a mock rivalry on stage and the latter having a hearty laugh at the former. The song also features a 'helmet cam' session where the crowd gets to see what the camera on Walsh's helmet points at. Also, the songs "The Boys of Summer" and "Hotel California" feature the first officially documented use by the Eagles of a drum machine in a live performance; in particular, during "Hotel California", a pre-programmed track is used to simulate the muted guitar strums which provide a steady beat on the original studio recording of the song, and which are absent from all of the previous live performances of it.
