Filmed in 1995, Connolly takes the viewer on a scenic and informative tour of Australia, intercut with scenes from his stand-up comedy act at various venues around the country. The tour takes in Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth, Darwin, Alice Springs and Fraser Island. On the way, Connolly also experiences and demonstrates several Australian customs, traditions, and attractions, including swimming with the dolphins in Perth, eating a pie floater in Adelaide, and several museums and galleries, most of which feature some form of Aboriginal art.

How do you like Wednesday? was a Japanese television variety series that aired on the HTB network in Hokkaidō, Japan, and on other regional television networks in Japan. The program debuted on HTB on October 9, 1996. The series was one of the first local variety programs to be produced on Hokkaido; prior to this series' launch, local variety programs in Hokkaidō were virtually non-existent. The program also had a significant influence on other local programs in other regions in Japan, most notably Kwangaku! in Kansai and Nobunaga in Tokai. The series achieved a record 18.6% viewing share on December 8, 1999, the highest share for a late-night program on a local TV station. Production of the weekly regular series ended in September 2002, though new limited-run series were produced on average of every 18 months; the latest series was shown on HTB in late 2005, eight episodes in length. Most of the series have been rerun under the names of Dōdeshō Returns and Suiyō Dōdeshō Classic.

È la versione animata della seconda serie del manga. Captain Tsubasa J è composto da 47 episodi. Trentaquattro (di cui uno non trasmesso in tutta Europa, proprio il 34, presumibilmente perché episodio riepilogativo) di questi episodi sono il remake della prima serie fino alla partenza per il Brasile di Roberto senza Tsubasa, mentre i restanti tredici narrano la storia dei primi sette volumetti del World Youth. La serie viene sospesa per problemi di budget. L'anime venne trasmesso per la prima volta in Italia su Italia 1 il 10 settembre 1999 con il titolo di Che campioni Holly e Benji!!!. Italia 1 in realtà voleva già trasmetterla nel maggio 1999 ma per problemi tecnici (allagamento del magazzino con i materiali della seconda serie) la serie fu rinviata a settembre. Dopo aver trasmesso i primi 33 episodi della serie J Italia 1 il 15 ottobre 1999 ha poi sospeso la serie trasmettendo al suo posto la seconda parte della prima serie di Holly e Benji, la serie OAV Sfida al mondo, e quattro film, 2 episodi al giorno, dando così continuità all'intero anime. Esattamente tre mesi dopo, il 10 dicembre 1999, tornò Captain Tsubasa J con le nuove puntate mai trasmesse (35-47).

Creata dalla Tatsunoko nel 1993, il primo OAV ha avuto così successo che ne è stato creato un secondo nel 1994 inserendovi personaggi presi da altre serie della Tatsunoko come Gatchaman, Tekkaman, Polymar e Kyashan. Created and hosted by double-act Vic Reeves and Bob Mortimer, it uses the panel show format but with the comedians' often slapstick, surreal and anarchic humour does not rely on rules in order to function, with the pair apparently ignoring existing rules or inventing new ones as and when the mood takes them.
