Petrocelli is an American legal drama which ran for two seasons on NBC from September 11, 1974 to March 31, 1976. Tony Petrocelli is an Italian-American Harvard-educated lawyer who gave up the big money and frenetic pace of major-metropolitan life to practice in a sleepy city in the American Southwest. He and wife Maggie live in a trailer in the country while waiting for their new house to be built, and travel around in a beat-up old pickup truck. For a quiet rural area, Petrocelli seems to have no trouble running into his share of murderers to defend.

Più di 50.000 anni fa, la Terra era totalmente diversa da come la vediamo oggi, e i continenti non avevano la stessa disposizione che hanno attualmente. Esisteva ancora, a quell'epoca, la leggendaria città-isola di Atlantide, che un misterioso cataclisma fece del tutto improvvisamente sprofondare per sempre nelle acque. A quell'epoca viveva un popolo prospero e pacifico, i Tritoni, esseri mezzi uomini e mezzi pesce, i cui nemici erano i bramosi e crudeli Poseidoni. Ed è proprio a causa dei Poseidoni che avviene la rovina di Atlantide: il loro sovrano Poseidone scatena il terremoto che decreta la fine di Atlantide e l'estinzione di tutti i Tritoni. Avviene però che una coppia di questi ultimi decide di portare in salvo il loro unico figlio dentro una conchiglia e lasciare che essa venga trasportata dalle acque. La conchiglia viene trovata qualche tempo dopo da un vecchio pescatore di nome Ippei, in Giappone, che lo alleva come se fosse suo figlio nonostante il bambino presenti delle capacità che gli altri bambini non hanno (ad esempio i capelli verdi ed un'innata abilità nel nuoto). Giunto all'età di tredici anni, Toriton viene salvato da una delfina bianca, Lukar, che gli rivela il segreto della sua nascita: Toriton è l'ultimo sopravvissuto dei Tritoni ed un grande destino lo attende. Incredulo all'inizio, Toriton si convince quando un mostro gigantesco simile ad una lucertola gigante tenta di attaccarlo cercando di fare una strage tra gli abitanti del suo villaggio. Spetta quindi a Toriton il gravoso compito di portare la pace nelle acque per evitare così che il crudele Poseidone si impossessi delle creature marine e del mondo intero.

Doctor Simon Locke was a Canadian medical drama The series was initially a medical drama that originated from the fictional rural town of Dixon Mills, where a young physician, Dr. Simon Locke, arrived in town to assist veteran physician Dr. Andrew Sellers. The plot lines were more fitting for a big city medical drama, including a typhoid epidemic, child abuse, and even a murder. In 1972 the series was renamed as Police Surgeon, where Dr. Locke moved back to the city and worked for the police department's emergency unit, where he assists the cops in solving crimes that require medical research.
