Voor Tobias (Felix Osinga) komt Mees Kees (Willem Voogd), de nieuwe invaller op school, precies op tijd. Door de juf werd hij om niets de klas uitgestuurd. Ook kreeg hij vaak strafwerk. Dat komt omdat zijn vader dee-oo-oo-dee is en zijn moeder de hele dag in bed ligt. Mees Kees ontfermt zich over Tobias. Hij deelt zijn boterhammen met het heerlijke omeletje van zijn moeder met hem, neemt Tobias mee uit flipperen en laat hem gezellig ‘nablijven’.
